Tamana has been practicing as a solicitor predominantly in family law for more than 15 years. In 2017, Tamana co-founded Hikma Legal in the Hills district in Sydney's northwest. Tamana is a fierce litigant and advocate, prioristing her clients' needs and particular circumstances at all times.
Tamana is also an accredited mediator and family dispute resolution practitioner. She has recently launched Hikma Mediation as a separate platform.
Tamana has also been a research fellow at the University of Sydney’s law school. Graduating with 1st degree honours, Tamana has a master’s degree in Islamic Studies from Charles Sturt University.
Tamana has appeared as a panelist on ABC RN’s God Forbid program and published op-eds in leading media outlets discussing diverse topics.
Tamana has a passion for community work, protecting human rights and serving and supporting those in need during difficult times.
